fling Machine

our fling machine was a very inconsistent piece of machinery.  we had a range of negative fourteen inches all the way to one hundred and four inches. the inconstancy had to do with how little support the rubber band gave the cotton ball.  also the straws had trouble supporting tension of the rubber band.  When beginning to build our prototype we had made to designs and had not decided so we

decided to build both and test so then we decided on the sling shot design instead of the catapult which was even more inconsistent in distance fired.

Overall Ben was a very good partner.  we both had very good ideas and we worked together to decide which design would work best. Also our fling machine took to to fire so i could not have done it without him. and I would not have changed my partner if given the chance.

Unit conversions can be a very boring topic we have been encountering for our whole life.  But they are essential for comparing measurements between different measurement

systems. we had the task of taking these unit conversions and making the fun. so here are some slides from our presentation.
